Majmu al Fatawa, Ibn Taymiyyah "Regarding Life after Death".

Date started: 15/05/2020.  Finished Read: 23/05/2020

This book "Regarding Life after Death", This is a really good book to read, one can gain so much knowledge as they read this book about life after death. It has authentic references and proofs and is a must read for anyone who cares about death and life after it. The author of this book is a well known and renowned Islamic scholar known as Shaykh Salih Fawazan, who has in the book explained and compiled work from one of the greatest Islamic Scholar to be known Ibn Taymiyyah. This book is recommended by many scholars and is said to be a good read on this topic. I have finished reading this book and it's a great read to understand some question regarding life after death, what happens in the grave, do angels die, the reality of Jin etc. I would give this book a 8/10 a book that answers common questions or interest that one may have about what Islam says about life after death and the unseen world. It ignites fear in to your heart and makes you remember the reality which is death and how you will be buried deep in the grave going through this journey. Alhumdullilah!

Atlas of the Islamic Conquests:

This is a book that I have recently purchased, it is not a book that I read to finish but it is more so a reference  and a guide that you can use to study and learn and refer back to. It highlights in detail some of the great Islamic conquest and takes you through the fourteen centuries of the Muslim Ummah and the best human civilisation on earth. Islamic history is rich and there is so much to know and I feel the times we are living in currently showcases Islam as a weak and oppressed religion. But when you read and ponder the History of Islam and how great and lofty it was in terms of the power and the rule that muslim had from the time of the first caliph Abu Baker (ra) to the reign of Ottoman caliph Murad the third. It motivates you to follow the true teachings of Islam in order to achieve  the greatness and true beauty of Islam once again. I would defiantly recommend this book it is a masterpiece of history and research. 5/5

Harry Potter:

I think most people in the world have heard of Harry Potter either they have seen the movie or read the books or just heard of the popularity of this book. This is a 7 book series and is very popular. I have seen all of the movies and I have two of the seven books. One which is shown in the picture below and the other one is "Order of Phoenix"by J.K Rowling. A good book, popular selection. 7/10 is the rating I will give it because for some people it might be a complicated storyline to understand and sometime that can be me, but for most people it is a magical, fun adventure to follow. I carried out a Harry Potter wizard questonaire and I am part of the Ravenclaw house.
